My Recent Loves

A few things I have fallen in love with recently:

Jerseylicious. This show is every bit as 'licious as it claims to be.
I read the book in one night & can't wait to see the movie on Saturday.

Men in beards. There is nothing sexier than a man with a beard, nothing.

Christina Aguilera's New Album

I'm infatuated with the new Christina Aguilera album, Bionic. Christina Aguilera is one of my favorite artists & this album is so much fun! I joke with my friends that I think I actually want to be her....

Sammi's Visit

My love Sammi came to California for a visit this month & we did all the typical tourist things. We went to the beach, rode beach cruisers from the Balboa to Huntington pier, went to LA, etc. I love my Sammi Sosa.

When you are this blonde, chlorine turns your hair green. My solution is to just wear a swimming cap.

I'm addicted to Ruby's & their chicken tenders. Pure bliss.

My first true love in life was Baker's and Sammi needed to be introduced...

This is for Jar, GO UTES!

Rodeo Drive

Dolly!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

We visited The Museum of Tolerance, but you can't take camera's inside. So the only photo we got was in the parking garage. We got to join a tour that was guided by an actual holocaust survivor. She had been shipped to a hospital in Sweden after the end of the holocaust to recover. While recovering, her brother read in the newspaper that some survivors had been taken to Sweden and her name was on the list. She married another Holocaust survivor and had three children. It was truly inspirational to meet her and hear her story.

Arizona

Arizona
Heather and I spent a week in Phoenix/Sedona/Scottsdale, Arizona to celebrate one year out of nursing school. I always have such a wonderful time with Heather! We spent our days in the Lazy River at the resort & nights exploring. We laughed and shared nursing stories. It's hard to believe a year ago we were nervous about boards & new jobs. Becoming a nurse was one of my best decisions yet ;)

Culinary Dropout in Scottsdale is our new favorite place! The food and decor were so delicious that we visited it twice!

I loved the SugarBowl Ice Cream Parlor. Lots of pink, lace and sweets. It was a place after this gal's heart.

Poolside

So blessed to have Heather in my life.

Salt Lake Trip #1
Spent a few days in SLC for no good reason.
Jeremy captured this moment on his phone, I actually don't remember what we were doing...

Rollerblading down Provo Canyon.

Night out at The Tavernacle.

Salt Lake Trip #2
In June I spent a week with Jeremy in SLC. We have been friends for over 4yrs, and I've cherished every minute of it. Everyone should be blessed with a friend like Jeremy. We always have fun, even if it's just eating funfetti cake & singing duets.
Shopping Ikea

I love this American Flag just outside of Park City.

Don't let the smile fool you. I despise Mc Donalds! The things we do for our friends...

The result of our shopping spree.

Funfetti traditions! In college, Jeremy and I ate funfetti cake a few times a week.

Jeremy grilled me a delicious dinner.

Just before Jar had to save us from the Daybreak Triangle.

This is Dante, my boyfriend at the club. Thanks Brian for introducing us ;)

Salt Lake Trip #3
I flew up to celebrate Sammi's 23rd birthday. Made some great new friends, some pictured below. We had to perform on the piano at Tavernacle, our new favorite place. It was definitely our best birthday bash thus far....

We brought our own funfetti cake out to Tavernacle. Almost the entire place got a piece; and jar got the rest.

I love this picture of Jar and I, its the perfect illustration of our friendship. Love & laughter.

Sammi and I performing on the piano.

Jar was having such a good time, he couldn't stay in his seat.

Chocolates from the midgets :)

Sammi actually stole this fish from the little boy in the background.

Fishing with our barbie fishing poles at Jeremy's lake.

My Sammi on her 23rd Birthday!
